About Chrono Aviation
Chrono Aviation: Canada's Charter Specialist With Reach
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Québec City, with bases in Montreal and Rimouski, Chrono Aviation has rapidly scaled to become Quebec’s largest dedicated charter airline. Today, it operates a diverse fleet of 14 aircraft and employs over 200 staff—growing from a single Pilatus PC-12 to including turboprops, business jets, and even Boeing 737s.
Fleet Tailored to Every Mission
Chrono’s fleet meets a vast range of needs:
Pilatus PC‑12s (up to 9 pax): versatile for business or light freight.
Beechcraft 1900Ds (19 pax): regional turboprops for group travel.
Dash 8‑100s (37 pax): mid-size aircraft for flexible regional operations.
Boeing 737‑200s (120 pax): rare gravel-runway capable jets, ideal for large charters.
737‑800SF freighter: high-capacity cargo transport (up to 52,700 lb).
This versatility allows service from 9-passenger business flights to 120-passenger large-scale charters, or heavy freight missions to remote locations.
Charter Services with Total Flexibility
Chrono’s slogan “Charter without compromise” is backed by 24/7 availability, departure with under two hours' notice, and fully customizable itineraries and aircraft configurations. Whether it’s fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) labor charters, corporate group travel, or cargo logistics, they tailor solutions for every sector—mining, construction, and beyond.
Safety at the Core
Chrono holds BARS certification and follows stringent maintenance standards under Transport Canada regulations. Pilots receive ongoing simulator training, while aircraft are equipped with advanced avionics and flown from private terminals—ensuring top-tier operational integrity
Strategic Partnerships & Growth
Chrono collaborates with First Nations in Nunavut, Nunavik, and the James Bay Cree, positioning itself as a key regional partner. A notable partnership with Arctic Co-operatives Ltd. led to adding a third 737-200, a new Montreal hangar, and enhanced Arctic service reach.
