Founded by Jesper and Kirsten Rungholm, DAT began as a cargo carrier operating with a single twin-engine aircraft, transporting everything from mail and packages to racehorses. Over the years, the airline has expanded its operations to include passenger charter flights and scheduled services, becoming a vital connector within Scandinavia and beyond. A Diverse Fleet for Regional Connectivity As of January 2025, DAT operates a fleet of 21 aircraft, including: Airbus A320-200: 5 aircraft, seating up to 180 passengers. Expanding Horizons with DAT LT In 2003, DAT expanded its operations by establishing DAT LT, a Lithuanian airline operating under its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC). DAT LT focuses on providing ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) services and operates a fleet of 22 aircraft, including ATR and Airbus models. This expansion has enabled DAT to extend its reach and capabilities across Europe. The airline conducts regular safety audits and maintains a robust internal safety management system to ensure the well-being of its passengers and crew.
