You have about 24 hours to do whatever you want. The entrance fee to the park itself is free, so your first stop should beDipsea State Park. The hikes offer some of the best views in the area. If you're lucky, you might be able to find a hidden gem. The lake and ponds here are absolutely magical. Café Central has great coffee and pastries for lunch.

 

They've the best chocolate brownies in town, so make sure to save room for dessert. If you feel peckish after that, head to Green Valley for some local favorites. The food trucks here are legendary, so don't miss out on trying something new. You can get a good portion of your meals under $10, so you don't have to worry about filling up the tank.

 

Transportation tips:

 

Renting a car is definitely an option here, but keep in mind that public transport isn't great. It is always a good idea to check the stops before you board the bus.
