London City

On my trip, I put on my shoes, took my camera, and walked the most beautiful paths in Sydney. If you plan to visit or just dream of the sea, these walks will amaze you.

1. Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk Sydney's Iconic Stroll

This walk is a must do. I began at Bondi Beach, which is just as beautiful as people say. I walked along the cliffs toward Coogee. On the way, I saw waves hitting the rocks, quiet beaches like Tamarama and Bronte, and people jogging with their dogs.

Watching the waves and feeling the salty air is very relaxing. You can swim or have a coffee at a beach café. This walk is about enjoying the moment, not rushing.

2. Sydney Harbour Bridge to Barangaroo From Icon to Innovation

Walking on the Sydney Harbour Bridge feels like a dream. It’s like walking inside a postcard. After that, I walked through The Rocks, with its old, charming streets, and then reached Barangaroo Reserve, a wild park in the city center.

Pro Tip: Get a pastry or a flat white from a café in The Rocks, then enjoy a picnic under the palm trees at Barangaroo. Pure bliss.

3. Royal Botanic Garden to Mrs Macquarie's Chair Peace in the City

This walk is great for a slow afternoon. I walked through Sydney’s lovely Botanic Gardens, looking at bright flowers and big trees. Then I went to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, a stone seat with a top view of the harbor.

Pro tip: Visit at sunset. Watching the sun set behind the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is amazing.

4. Manly to Spit Bridge Walk Nature Meets the Sea

This trail was a fun adventure. I started at Manly Beach, then walked past quiet beaches, bushland, and old rock carvings. It’s a bit rough but worth it.

Wear good shoes, pack water, and bring your curiosity you'll see a wilder side of Sydney on this one.

5. Watsons Bay & The Gap Cliff Views + Seafood Dreams

This short walk felt like a full day trip. I took a ferry to Watsons Bay, then walked to The Gap, a high cliff with endless ocean views. The walk to Hornby Lighthouse was calm, and the sights were amazing.

And yes, I finished it off with fish and chips from Doyle's. You kind of have to.

6. Centennial Park Loop A Calm Escape

Want a calm morning? I enjoyed walking the loop at Centennial Park. Big open fields, lakes with black swans, and horses passing by. It’s a quiet spot where locals come to relax and you should too.

7. Bonus: A DIY City Walk for Coffee Lovers

Here’s a fun walk: Begin at Circular Quay, stroll through The Rocks, go up George Street past old buildings, visit Hyde Park, and end at Darling Harbour. Along the way, you’ll find lots of places for coffee, food, street art, and a tasty drink.

Perfect if you're in the mood to just go where your feet (and your appetite) take you.
